11/A Lions v Gulshan Becks (20 over match)
11/A Lions batted first and had a diastrous day with the bat! Nothing seemed to go right for the Lions as they lost wickets regularly and simply could not get going losing 9 of their batsmen for single digits. The bowlers destroyed the opposition with Zohaib Khan leading with 3 wickets, supported by Atif who took another 2. Some briliant fielding and poor running between the wickets lead to 2 run outs and the rest of the bowlers chipped in to do further damage, picking up a wicket each. Eventually 11/A lions were bowled out for 61 runs in 16 overs.
Gulshan Becks made easy work of the chase with Kamran Ahmed top scoring for his side with 16 runs. Sajad Mansoor took 2 wickets for the Lions but could not defend the low total. Gulshan Becks chased the target in 11.3 overs.
