Perceptions vs Wintex Strikers (20 over match)
Gzanfar's masterclass innings of 72 was enough to take Wintex Strikers to victory against Perceptions.
Perceptions batted first and their openers Mukhtar Ahmed and Bilal Chinioty could not get them off to a flying start, the main reason was the tight line and lengths from Wintex Sports bowlers that did not allow Perceptions openers to score freely. Adnan Salim of Wintex Sports was the hero of the power play. He bowled his 3 overs and only gave away 6 runs and it was a great spell considering the fact that he bowled in the power play where batsmen are looking to take charge on the bowlers. With this great start from Wintex Sports they kept the pressure on throughout the innings and could not let them take control of the match at any point. Though Maqbool and Anus Ballu tried to play few shots in between the gaps and batted for sometime but both were removed by Sameer who also had an exceptional day picking up 3 for 30. In the end Perceptions only managed 127 which surely was below par.
Wintex Sports innings did not get off to a great start infact it was off to a bad start as they lost both their openers in the initial overs with not so much on board. With early setback Wintex Sports were pushed against the walls but Gzanfar today had different ideas. He singles handedly took Wintex Sports to victory. He was in fine form smashing every bowler and dealing in boundaries. He got support from Ali Mansoor who scored 26 of 36. But it was Gzanfar's marvelous knock of 72 of 42 with a massive strike rate of 171 which took Wintex Sports to victory. Wintex Sports chased down the target in only 16.5 overs.
