Haseen Habib batted first and were off to a rocky start with both openers Azhar and Fawad struggling on the crease. Fawad was slow to get going, scoring only 11 runs off 21 balls before he was dismissed. The team lost wickets in regular intervals unable to gain any stability or contribute valuable runs with the bat. The duo of Nadeem Akthar and Nadeem Mushtaq were the most valuable contributors for their side with cameos of 20 and 23 runs respectively. Asad Ullah and Uzair Saleem were the key wicket takers for their side, picking up 2 wickets each to stump the opposition. Haseen Habib were eventually limited to a modest total of 122 in 20 overs.
Benitoz Panthers were off to a disastrous start in their chase, losing opener Asad Butt for just 1 run. Things did not get any better for the chasing side as they threw away their wickets, unable to keep the scoreboard ticking. 8 of the Panthers batsmen were out in single digits, including 2 ducks. Habib bowlers were in-form and on fire with Fawaad Bari and Anaam Nadeem dismantling the opposition with 3 scalps each. Nadeem Mushtaq also took 2 wickets. Panthers batsmen were never able to recover and were bowled out for 83 runs in 14 overs.
