Falcons batted first and were off to a very good start with their openers looking in prime form as they built a great partnership and a platform for rest of the batsmen. Arshad Tai specifically was in unbelievable hitting form as he batted with a strike rate of over 211 in his innings of 36 which came of just 17 balls. His partner Shauqat scored 37 of 36. Once they were dismissed Hawks came back well in the match on the back of a great bowling spell from Hammad Bukhari as he picked up 3 wickets for just 20 runs, he was the pick of the bowler, also remained the highest wicket taker in the innings. After a few quick wickets Irfan in the lower middle order played a little cameo of 24 to help his side reach 150.

The chase was off to a flying start as the openers smashed the bowlers all around the park during their stay, Mustafa and Faraz scored 16 and 30 respectively. Kahif then carried the innings forward after the loss of the openers and he scored 22 before he was undone by Rizwan. Both teams were in the game for most part but the partnership between Rameez and Hammad put Hawks infront. Both scored in 20s and played crucial part in setting up a victory for their side. It was a close game that went to the last over and their highest wicket taker Arshad was given a chance to defend the score in the final over but he was unable to defend it as Hawks managed to get over the line with one ball to spare.
