NBP Lions came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start as they lost 4 wickets inside the powerplay. Ahmed Ali & Azhar Khan put up a partnership to get their team out of trouble. Azhar Khan looked promising before he was dismissed for 26. Ahmed Ali followed him soon as he was dismissed after scoring 36 off 44. The rest of the batsmen then completely lost the plot as the bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The batting order completely collapsed as Nauman Ur Rehman & Abdul Rehman Sr ripped through the batting lineup picking up 3 wickets. They found good support from Khawar Rais who picked up a couple of wickets himself. NBP Lions were bowled out for 111 runs in 17.5 overs.
HBL Asset Management came in to chase down this target & were off to a shaky start as they lost one of their opener in the first over. Nauman Ur Rehman & Sabih Siddiqui then put up a partnership before Nauman Ur Rehman found himself bamboozled for 32 runs. Abdul Rehman Sr came in next & continued the momentum. Sabih Siddiqui played a fiery innings of 48 off just 28 deliveries. Abdul Rehman Sr played a cameo of 30 runs off just 11 deliveries. Shuja uddin & Salman Ali Memon managed to pickup a wicket but it was too little too late.
