IBEX Knights triumph over Hill Park Blues

Hill Park Blues came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Waleed Khan & Saad Jaka put up a fiery partnership at the top giving their team an accelerating start. Saad Jaka departed after scoring 23 runs off 14 deliveries. Shah Hussain came in & he played with the same intent. Waleed Khan kept on timing the ball sweetly. He was in fine form & struck the ball with ease. He single handedly blew away the bowling attack before he agonizingly fell short of a well deserved century. Waleed Khan departed after playing a sublime knock of 92 runs off just 51 deliveries. Shah Hussain played a solid knock of 29 runs off 34 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Hassan Alvi lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. Hill Park Blues posted a total of 169 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Bakhtiyar Ali & Arsal Ali put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. The duo took the attack towards the bowlers hitting out every bowler that was brought into the match. Bakhtiyar Ali played a sublime knock of 58 runs off just 29 deliveries where as Arsal Ali scored 43 runs off 33 deliveries. Abdullah came in & he played with the same intent. Despite the bowlers picking up wickets at regular intervals from the other end he played with the same intent. Abdullah played a fiery innings of 42 runs off just 32 deliveries taking his team over the line. Abdullah Anwar & Manzoor Khan picked up a couple of wickets each but it was too little too late.
