A classy innings of 76 runs by Adeel khan helps his side beat MAA Cricket Club by 32 runs in 14th Challengers Cup- Semi Final.
In the 14th Challengers Cup – Semi Final match, ICT batted first, but things did not go as they planned in the initial phase as no one could manage to stay on the crease for too long except Adeel Khan who was the chief architect in setting up the target of 177. Adeel Khan held one end while wickets fell at the other end but he continued to smash the bowlers all around the park and scored 76 of 42. Other notable contribution came from Rafay who scored 38 of 20 to give his side much needed momentum going into the second inning. ICT did not run well between the wickets as they had 4 runouts in their innings. Naimat Khan was the pick of the bowler who picked 3 for 29.
The second inning was off to a disastrous start for MAA Cricket Club as they lost 3 quick wickets all for a duck. Ameer Raza Khan and Naimat Khan tried to rebuilt the innings, they scored 28 and 39 respectively before being dismissed. Ibaad Khan was the pick of the bowler for ICT as he picked up 4 for 24 dismissing there key batsmen.
MAA Cricket Club was never in the game and were beaten easily by 32 runs.
