Innovators CC Vs Shan Foods
Innovators CC were on their toes against Shan Foods. It was a very close call for both sides and in the end Innovators CC proved their dominance.
Innovators CC were off to a rocking start with Akhtar Muhammad, who single handedly gave his side a boost start and scored 28 runs, with little help from Usama Butt who scored 9 runs. Afroz Khan came one down and scored 15 runs for his side. The top batting order was in good form and kept the scoreboard ticking. Tauseef Khan played a hardcore innings of 31 runs. Arif Chughtai and Qadir Khan were the last pair to carry a decent partnership for their side and scored 33 runs. Shan Foods also kept on coming at the opposition with their bowling attack, from which Shah bowled a beautiful spell of 4 overs and took 3 wickets. Innovators CC scored a total of 154 runs in 20 overs.
Shan Food were off to a relatively bumpy start in the second innings, with their opening pair who weren’t able to score much. Muhammad Ali and Syed Sheraz Ali scored a total of 13 runs. Aqib was the third man in and he hit some massive shots. He covered the damaged score line and played a wonderful innings by scoring 56 runs. Saad Kaalia was the second batsman of the innings to hit some big shots and scored 41 runs. Shah was the last player to score in the double figures for his side and scored 17 runs. Innovators CC also tried their best with ball and contained Shan Foods from reaching the target score. Muhammad Sajjad picked up 3 wickets for his side. It was a nerve cracking contest and in the end Shan Foods ran out of overs and luck. Innovators CC won by 8 runs.
