Benitoz Panthers Vs Alliance Sports
Tabish and Rameez Mehboob were the opening batsmen to get things underway for the Benitoz Panthers in the first innings against the Alliance Sports. Tabish scored 22 runs whereas Rameez only scored 4 runs and went back after losing his wicket by a run out. Umair Ahmed was the third man in and he was the star performer of the first innings. He was in top form and he played some brilliant shots to score 61 runs. Shumail Katchi and Mohib Ahsan scored a 56 runs partnership that gave their side a decent add up on the scoreboard. Ahsan Lakhani was the highest wicket taker from the Alliance Sports with 3 wickets to his name. At the end of 20 overs, Benitoz Panthers scored a total of 158 runs for the opposition to chase.
Saad Ahmed and Muzzamil Mehboob gave a flying start to their team by scoring a 47 runs partnership at the start of the second innings, giving their side a hope of winning this contest. Hamza Ali Khan was the one to break this lethal partnership and he also became the highest wicket taker for his side, with 3 wickets to his name. Idrees Durrani scored 17 runs and Khurram Rangila backed him up by scoring 15 runs, which were decent runs that kept the scoreboard ticking in favor of their team. Talha Butt scored 25 runs but lost his wicket to Hamza Ali Khan who had been constantly breaking up the batting order into pieces. Both of the teams battled hard and fought till the very last ball. On one had Benito Panthers had taken down 9 wickets and on the other hand Alliance Sports were just a few runs away from victory and they had 2 balls remaining. In the end Rao Noman finished the match and the sealed the victory for his side by hitting a tremendous boundary.
