KARACHI GLADIATORS vs KALSOFT KNIGHTS

Karachi Gladiators and Kalsoft Knights faced each other in this thrilling fixture of the Al-Wakeel Cricket League at UBL Cricket Ground. Karachi Gladiators batted first and were off to a decent start. Adam Khalid and Izat Shah laid a solid foundation with 24 and 20 runs respectively. After the departure of the openers, the flow of runs did not stop as Rabish Ahmed and Faisal Haroon Badshah played well. Rabish Ahmed scored 23 runs of 20 balls while Faisal managed to score 33 runs of 23 deliveries. With a few brisk knocks from the tail, Karachi Gladiators managed to put on 164 runs on the board. Hamid Shahid grabbed 2 wickets for 19 runs, while 1 wicket apiece was taken by Usama Khan, Saad Aarbi, Muzzamil Khan and Shahbaz Asif. At the end of the innings the scoreboard displayed 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Kalsoft Knights had an ideal start to their chase as Munir lashed on the Gladiators bowling attack from the word go. He scored 44 runs off just 17 balls, missing his well-deserved half century. On the other end Danish Dossani displayed calmness and kept on rotating the strike. Despite a superb start, the job was not yet done. And Hamid Shahid along with Muzzamil Khan held the innings together. Hamid scored a brilliant half century which came off in just 31 balls and his partner Muzzamil scored a quick fire knock of 37 runs in just 19 balls. Areeb Kalia and Izat Shah were the only wicket taking bowlers for Karachi Gladiators. The match finished in the 14th over as Kalsoft Knights chased the target at the loss of just 2 wickets. Kalsoft Knights won the match by 8 wickets.
