It was a one-sided fixture and Karachi Fighters dominated it from ball one and not even allowed Friends XI to come close to them. Friends XI batted first and their misery started from the very first over as they lost Zohaib Ahmed just for 1 run. Karachi Fighters were on top and Zeeshan Ahmed put them in a more dominating position with his 4 wickets. He was supported by other bowlers, Tauqeer picked up 2 wickets but he contained the batting side and gave away only 11 runs in his 4 overs. Salman Khan also picked up 1 wicket. On the other hand, Iftikhar Chaudry was the highest scorer with 24. In the end, Friends XI managed to score 104 in their 20 overs.
In response, Karachi Fighters came out all guns blazing, they were chasing a modest target but they did not hold back and even after losing Taimoor Ali for just 1, they kept attacking the bowling side. Kamran Hasan Khan and Noman Suriya were on top of their form and they did not miss any opportunity to score big. Kamran scored 50 of just 30 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours whereas Noman Suriya scored 44 of 32 with 8 fours at a strike rate of 137.50. In the end, Karachi Fighters won it big only in 10.3 overs at the expense of just 1 wicket.
