Karachi Gladiators and SRE Builders went against each other on 21st December at Naya Nazimabad Ground.
Middle-order batters, Najeeb Lali and Afnan Karim shone for Karachi Gladiators. Najeeb smashed 99 runs of 59 balls, hitting 8 fours and 4 sixes. While Afnan added 66 runs at a strike rate of 183.33. The bowlers were ineffective, as Annas Sattar took 2 wickets, while Ahmed Hasan bagged 1. As a result, Karachi Gladiators scored a total of 196 runs at a loss of 4 wickets only.
Ahmed Asif and Bilal Aslam opened for ARE Builders, scoring 20 and 22 runs respectively. The batters displayed a sloppy effort and the bowlers dominated. Rabish Ahmed and Nawaz Khan dismissed 3 batters each. While Umer Farooq, Zarak Khan, Fahad Wakeel and Bilal Bhabha bagged a wicket each.
As a result, ARE Builders were restricted to a score of 142 runs. Hence, Gladiators won by 54 runs in 19.5 overs.
