Benitoz batted first and were off to a disastrous start, losing opener Salman Zaid for duck! His partner Asad Butt however lead from the front with a fantastic knock of 83 runs at a strike rate of 153. While none of the other batsmen capitalized on some decent starts, Ahmed Arshad (32), Danish Aziz (26) and Shumail Aziz (23) scored fighting cameos to boost their team to a competitive total. Faraz Kazi struck twice with the ball, taking 2 wickets and limiting the opposition. Benitoz set a target of 184 in 20 overs.

Karachi Hawks stumbled early on, losing opener Ali Mansoor for just 7 runs. Fahad Iqbal and Zain then stepped in to stabilize the innings, contributing 31 runs each with the bat to set up a a solid foundation for their side. Idrees Durrani then took over, dominating the innings and decimating the bowlers with a match-winning knock of 98 runs from 44 balls at a strike rate of 222. There was no stopping the onslaught as Benitoz bowlers were simply helpless against the brutal attack. Waqas managed to pick up 2 wickets. Karachi Hawks chased down the total in 19.1 overs.

Karachi Hawks won by 6 wickets and took home the trophy.
