Cocoon Home batted first in the all important match and simply fell apart. The team's opener Saad was out for duck and was soon accompanied by Bilal and Wahab who lost their wickets for just 2 runs each. The team was reeling at 4/3 when Yasir and Humayun Alamgir fought back, contributing 31 runs each and trying hard to give Cocoon Home some chance of posting a respectable total. Wickets fell in regular intervals with the batsmen unable to take control at any stage of the innings. Panthers bowlers outclassed the opposition with an impressive display of bowling. Khalid Khursheed and Faisal Ghauri lead the attack, taking 2 wickets each and stopping the flow of runs. Cocoon Home eventually posted a target of 120 runs in 20 overs.
Karachi Panthers were off to a shocking start, losing their opener Rameez Mehboob for duck! Their misery however ended there as Tabish (48) and Israr (52) built a wonderful innings to lead the Panthers to a comfortable victory. Naimutallah and Haseeb took 2 wickets each, trying hard to defend their team's total but there were not enough runs on the board to create any kind of pressure. Karachi Panthers chased the total in 19.3 overs.
Karachi Panthers won by 5 wickets and were crowned champions of the tournament.
