Karachi Patriots batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing their opener Tayyab Balagamwala for just 10 runs. His partner Faisal Butt however lead from the front with an impressive 60 run knock at a strike rate of 157 runs. The team stumbled, losing wickets in regular intervals but kept the scoreboard ticking. Usman Ghani was the other notable contributor with the bat, scoring a fiery 36 runs which included 5 boundaries. Idrees Amin, Ahmed Moten and Imran Parchi fought back with the ball, taking 2 wickets each, trying hard to break the team's momentum and limit the flow of runs. Karachi Patriots eventually posted a target of 164 in 20 overs.
TNN Titans lost their opener Shakir Serang early on in the innings for just 5 runs. Bilal Omer however was in form, top scoring for his side with a blistering 46 run knock that included 4 boundaries and 3 maximums. The rest of his side struggled to keep their wickets intact and the Patriots bowlers added further injury, bowling tight lines and taking wickets. Aamir Motiwala lead the attack, picking up 3 wickets. Sameer Ahmedani, Richie and Adnan Ghazi picked up 2 wickets each to successfully bowl out the opposition. TNN Titans were bowled out for 137 in 19.1 overs.
