Gulshan Becks batted first and were off to an ordinary start losing 2 quick wickets at the top. Ali and Kashif then got together and never looked back. They played with a sense of responsibility and build the innings around them. Ali Manzar was a calmer of the two, he kept the score board ticking over and kept rotating the strike and his partner on the other hand, smashed the bowlers to every corner. With 10 fours to his name Kashif Rajput struck a brilliant 68 of just 40 balls. Their partnership gave their side a perfect opportunity to end the innings with a high score, and Kamran took advantage of the situation and late down the order he scored a quick 35 of just 15 balls to boost Gulshan Becks to a big score of 190.
During chase, Spartans faltered and never really got going. So much was expected of them but they could not put on a decent fight and Gulshan Becks proved to be too strong for them. Kamran Siddique was the chief destroyer with 3 wickets whereas Zohaib khan picked up 2 for 19 runs. The other bowlers supported them well and did not give opportunities to the batsmen to get under their skins, only Shahrukh resisted and fought valiantly as he scored 64 of 49 with 6 mighty sixes, but even then Spartans fell short by 62 runs.
