Kent Warriors crowned champions

Kent Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket in the first over they were scoring at a healthy rate. Zeeshan Bangash & Huzaifa Munir put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. The duo scored at a healthy rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Huzaifa Munir departed after scoring 30 runs off 20 deliveries. Zeeshan Bangash follow him soon as he scored 48 runs off 35 deliveries. Abdullah Alam came in & he scored with the same intent. He took the attack towards the bowlers scoring boundaries at regular intervals. He played a sublime knock of 60 runs off 42 deliveries. EJaz Shah came in & he chipped in with his 16 off 14. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Nadir Shah lead the bowling attack picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Zia Ullah who picked up a couple of wickets. Kent Warriors posted a total of 166 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Liaqutabad Eagles came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Arbaz Khan played a solid knock of 28 runs off 19 deliveries. Haroon Arshad came in & he scored 21 runs off 23 deliveries. Ghazi Ghori chipped in with his 14 off 18. Taha Mehmood & Zia Ullah then put up some sort of a partnership keeping their team into the chase. Taha Mehmood departed after scoring 24 runs off 21 deliveries where as Zia Ullah played a cameo of 32 runs off 13 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers then bowled at tight line & lengths not allowing the batsmen to score easily. Naimat Khan Afridi lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Muhammad Fareed Ullah Agha as he picked up a couple of wickets.
