Parco batted first in this important fixture and they had a wonderful outing with the bat, thanks largely to Khalil Bugti who played an incredible innings, it was an innings to savor for Khalil Bugti, the hard-hitting batsman from Parco as he pummeled and thumped the bowling side to all parts of the ground in his heroic knock. He was unstoppable and had every reason to cherish the moment. He sparkled with the bat during this gallant innings which knocked the opposition out of the contest, with 6 mighty and thunderous sixes to his name, he shined like a dazzling star in the entire innings, he fell short by 7 runs as he was dismissed for 93 runs but he played his part well and he had full support from the other end as well in the form of Zahid Hussain, who quietly built up his innings and kept ticking the scorecard from the other end as he scored 41 of 32 balls. This effort took Parco to a very respectable 169.
After a disappointing show with the ball, Nexus were hoping for a better result with the bat but not to be as the bowlers came strongly at them most particularly, Muhammad Ahmed. He bamboozled the batting with his magnificent piece of bowling and if Khalil was the star with the bat, Ahmed was the pick with the ball. He bowled at an economy of just 6.5. He was supported by Khalid Sheikh who picked up 3 middle order wickets to hit the batting side hard. Nexus were never really in the game, and had no inspirational performance which could have lifted them up and in the end, their innings was folded for just 131 and they were beaten by a big margin of 38 runs.
