Khas batted first and were off to a rocky start, losing opener Hassan for duck. His partner Khurram however stepped in to take over the reigns with an impressive knock of 33 runs to keep the scoreboard ticking. Wickets fell in regular intervals but the batsmen fought back, contributing runs throughout the innings. Yasir Tanveer was the top scorer of the match with a fiery innings of 68 runs at a strike rate of 158 which included 9 boundaries. After his dismissal however, the team simply imploded, throwing away their wickets with some poor running in the field resulting in 5 brutal run outs. Hush Puppies bowlers did well to contain the opposition, picking up wickets at key times and making the most of every opportunity. Khas were eventually bowled out for 165 runs in 20 overs.
Hush Puppies stumbled early on in the chase, losing opener Ahrar Ahmed early on in the innings. His partner Usman Mazhar however teamed up with Farhan Iqbal to pose a serious threat to the opposition. They scored 50 and 57 runs respectively, setting the foundation for a comfortable victory for their side. Khas bowlers were not giving up without a fight, slowing taking wickets and restricting the flow of runs. The remaining batsmen were unable to show much support, losing their wickets and contributing too little with the bat. Bilal Amin was the key bowler for his side, picking up 2 wickets to rattle the opposition. Eventually Hush Puppies batsmen were unable to keep the momentum going and were only able to score 154 runs in 20 overs.
Khas won by 11 runs and were crowned champions.
