Khas batted first and were off to a solid start with openers Khurram Asfaq and Hassan contributing runs with the bat. The team had a good day with the bat with opener Hassan taking the reigns with an electrifying 89 run innings which included 7 boundaries and 5 maximums. Khurram Mazhar joined the party with a blistering cameo of 40 runs at a strike rate of 190. Bawa bowlers were helpless against the onslaught, unable to pick up wickets effectively or stop the flow of runs. Only Ahmed Waqar and Rizwan Naeem managed to take a wicket each. With scoreboard pressure mounting, Bawa Defence needed an extraordinary innings to chase down this total. The team got off to a decent start but were unable to build solid partnerships throughout the innings. Shiraz (37), Ahmed(32) and Kashif (38) were the most notable contributors for their side, resisting the brutal bowling attack, fighting hard to pull their team back in the game. Khas bowlers did well to limit the opposition, picking up wickets at key times to stop the flow of runs. Farhan, Hassan, Shiraz and Ibrahim all struck with the ball, taking 2 wickets each.
