Hush Puppies batted first and had a tricky day with the bat! The team lost wickets regularly, unable to recover, gain stability or any kind of momentum. Reeling at 14/4, Asad Manzoor (37) then stepped in to try and save his team, contributing valuable runs with the bat. Usman Tahir assisted, scoring 32 runs, fighting hard to pull his team back in the game and post a respectable total. Hassan Sohail lead the bowling attack, taking 3 wickets along with Imran Tahir who showed no mercy, taking 2 more to decimate the opposition. Hush Puppies set a target of 125 in 20 overs.
Khas stumbled in their chase, losing wickets early on in the innings. The team however kept the scoreboard ticking with each batsmen contributing a few runs with the bat. Khurram Ashfaq (31) and Shiraz Mannah (21) were the anchors for their side, providing stability and inching the team closer to victory. Owais Gulzar fought hard to defend his team's total, taking 3 wickets and desperately trying to stop the flow of runs. With not enough runs on the board however, Khas managed to chase down the target in 19 overs.
