The Korenesh Vs Khas Tigers match was played on Monday, 30th November 2015 at Moin Khan Cricket Academy.
Korenesh won the toss and chose to bat first. The match started with the openers showing a lot of confidence as Obaid Gulzar(56) and Khurrum Saleem(92) both proved to be strong partners and great batsmen, making sure the ball was mostly found in different corners of the ground as they blazed 8 and 16 fours, respectively. Other batsmen also matched the expectations placed on them and soon a target of 215 was set for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs.
Then came the roaring Tigers with great enthusiasm, opening with Hassan Alam(2) and Usman Mazhar scoring 91 for 55 balls, an innnings that included 2 sixes and 12 fours. After the early loss of Hassan, Khurram (37) and Abudullah (21) kept the momentum going. But later Danish Saleem picked up 3 wickets and the following batsmen failed to keep up with the scorecard pressure ending up short by 31 runs.
