Legends CC v Scorchers XI (20 over match)
Legends CC batted first and were off to a rocky start with opener Ahmer Shaikh losing his wicket for just 6 runs. His partner Umer Ishtiaq contributed a fiery 36 runs but it was Emad-ul-Haq who really got the scoreboard ticking with a fantastic knock of 72 runs. Kashif picked up 2 wickets for the Scorchers XI but the bowlers were helpless against the destructive batting orders. Legends CC posted a target of 175 in 20 overs.
Scorchers XI were off to a flying start in their chase with opener Luqman scoring a much needed 54 runs for his side. His partner Shani also contributed 25 runs but the rest of the team completely fell apart! Ahmer Shaikh and Mumtaz Khan decimated the opposition, picking up 5 wickets each and bowling out Scorchers CC. The batsmen were completely outdone by an unbelievable display of bowling and only managed to score 138 in 17.5 overs.
Legends CC won by 37 runs.
