Legends CC v AAG CC (20 over match)
Legends CC batted first and had a fantastic run with the bat! Their top 3 batsmen were merciless against the bowlers, scoring a combined 169 runs. Ahmar Shiekh was the star of the show, scoring 69 runs at a strike rate of 202 which included 6- sixes! Mobeen eventually struck with the ball, taking 2 key wickets and stopping the flow of runs. The rest of the team did little to contribute but the foundation had already been set by the top order with Legends CC setting a target of 199 runs.
AAG CC set out to chase the target and fumbled along the way. Opener Mobeen was out for duck and the team lost 3 quick wickets before Jameel stepped in to stabilize the innings. Jameel scored an incredible knock of 96 runs at a strike rate of 181 which included 4 sixes and fought very hard to bring his team back into the game. He received little support from the rest of the batsmen and eventually AAG CC could only score 157 runs in 20 overs.
Legends CC won by a massive 42 runs.
