Agha Khan Gymkhana batted first and had a disastrous day out with the bat. Openers Saud and Malik lost their wickets early on in the innings and the team were unable to recover at any stage. Pervez Ali was the most notable contributor for his side, scoring 34 runs but received no support on the other end. MAA bowlers did well to restrict the opposition, taking wickets regularly, keeping the momentum in their favor. Abdul Wali was the most lethal of the lot, taking 3 key wickets. Azhar Shah and Mehmood also took 2 wickets to rattle the opposition. Agha Khan Gymkhana were at a complete loss and were only able to set a modest target of 116 in 20 overs.
MAA CC were off to a rocky start in their chase, losing their opening pair for just 6 runs. Fahad Jabbar and Azhar Shah lead the recovery, making things look easy with valuable knocks of 44 and 47 runs respectively to guide their team to a comfortable victory. Agha Khan Gymkhana bowlers needed to strike with the ball to give their side a fighting chance of defending the total. Hamid Ali took 2 wickets for his side but was unable to stop the flow of runs. MAA CC chased down the target in 17.1 overs.
