Masaqa CC went against Okhai Memon Youth Services on 5th December at TMC Ground. The match was the final battle of Karachi Master Champions League Season 2.
Batting first, Okhai posted a total of 134 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. Danish Afridi and Hashim Hussain Vayani opened the innings scoring 21 and 10 runs respectively. Obaid Ur Rehman stood out with the bat as he added 40 runs to the score. Waseem Ali, from Masaqa CC led the bowling attack and bagged 4 wickets. In addition to this, Umer Khan took 2 wickets.
Masaqa CC had a successful chase, credit to Ejaz Shah. He played an innings of 64 runs at a strike rate of 228.87. His innings included 12 dashing boundaries; 9 fours and 3 sixes. Akber Khan supported his effort and scored 30 off 22. Obaid Ur Rehman emerged with the ball and dismissed 2 batters. However, the overall bowling spirit was unable to restrict the batters.
As a result, Masaqa CC chased the score in 14 overs only and won the match by 6 wickets.
