Asad Leads Karachi Stallions to a WinPreview
Classic Garments Raptors went against Karachi Stallions on 15th October at Lawai Cricket Ground.
Areeb Dandia and Usman Naviwala opened the innings for Raptors. However, both lost wickets on fewer runs of 1 and 7 runs respectively. The batters displayed a poor effort, as none of them except Ahmed Budhi and Ali Aslam scored in double figures. Three of the batters lost their wickets on a duck. The bowlers of Stallions were ferocious. Asad bagged 6 wickets at an economy rate of 5.25. In addition to this, Daniyal Gigi took 2 wickets. Hence, the bowlers successfully restricted the batters to a score of 100 runs only.
Younus Tai and Ahmed Lashkerwala opened the innings for Stallions, scoring 16 and 12 runs respectively. Hasnain Deriwala and Noyam Nasir, the middle-order batters, were victorious in chasing the score. Hasnain scored 25 runs, while Noyam added 38 runs to the score. Mujtaba Raza bagged two wickets, however, it was not enough to build pressure on the bowlers.
As a result, Stallions emerged as winners in the 16th over only.
