Medicam and Chiniot Lions went against each other on 20th December at DHA Sports Club.
Abdul Basit Zaki opened the innings for Medicam, scoring 40 runs at a strike rate of 190.48. Junaid Khaleel stood out, as he smashed 82 off 46 hitting 11 fours and 2 sixes. Abdul Rehman emerged as he bagged a 5 wicket haul. However, the batters were unstoppable as Umer Chawla added 32 runs. Hence, Medicam posted a total of 189 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.
Chiniot Lions displayed a sloppy batting effort in the second innings. Usman Mazhar and Rafay Tariq scored 24 and 31 runs respectively. However, the bowlers dominated to defend their score. Abdullha Nawab took 3 wickets, while four other bowlers dismissed a batter each.
As a result, Chiniot Lions lost the match by 82 runs in 18 overs.
