Medicam and Mothercare went against each other on 25th October at TMC Cricket Ground.
Junaid Khaleel and Abdul Basit Zaki opened the innings for Medicam. Both played blistering innings and gave the team a phenomenal start. Junaid scored 41 off 43 balls, hitting 3 fours. On the other hand, Abdul Basit smashed a century at a strike rate of 165.08. He played an innings of 104 runs off 63 balls and remained not out. Though Ali Sohail Baghpati bagged 3 wickets, however, the bowlers were ineffective against the batters. Umer Chawla played a cameo of 22 runs at a strike rate of 200. Hence, the batter led Medicam to a total of 190 runs at the loss of 3 wickets only.
Saad Suleman Chawla and Muhammad Mustafa Zeeshan opened the innings for Mothercare to chase. Saad scored 34 runs while Mustafa scored 15 runs only. The bowlers played a massively significant role in restricting Mothercare to a score of 142 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Abdullah Nawaz bagged 3 wickets. While Houd Adnan, Danish Rehan, Shahzaib Zafar and Faraz Ahmed took a wicket each. None of the batters from Mothercare were able to make a significant contribution.
As a result, Medicam won the match by 48 runs.
