Medicam and Zee Storm went against each other on 5th November at the Lawai Cricket Ground.
Batting first, Medicam posted a huge total of 209 runs at the loss of only 3 wickets. The bowling power of Zee Storm was poor, as only Haroon Shahid dismissed 2 batters, with the third won being run out. Muneed Ur Rehman and Umer Lohya opened the innings for Medicam. While Muneed scored 28 runs off 31 balls. Umer was supremely phenomenal, as he smashed a century. He scored 130 runs off 70 balls at a strike rate of 185.71. His innings included 15 fours and 2 sixes.
Wajhi Farooqui and Zia Uddin’s partnership opened the second innings for Zee Storm. However, much to their dismay they lost wickets on only 16 and 5 runs respectively. Though Minhaj Shah tried to push the team closer to the score with his innings of 35 off 30. However, it was not enough, as none of the other batters were able to mark an impact. Ali Chawla bagged 3 wickets while Abdullah Nawab took 2 wickets.
As a result, Zee Storm was restricted to a score of 84 in 14 overs at a loss of all wickets. Therefore, Medicam emerged as winners by 125 runs.
