Medicam went against Dehli Boyz on 17th December at DHA Sports Club.
Batting first, Medicam posted a mammoth total of 199 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Openers, Junaid Khaleel and Abdul Basit Zaki gave a phenomenal start to the team. They scored a half century and 46 runs respectively. The dashing duo smashed a collective of 13 boundaries. Umer Chawla was also clinical as he added 40 runs to the score. Iftikhar Ahmed bagged 3 wickets, while Umer Tasleem took 2.
The chase was opened by Umer and Humayun Nadeem, scoring 18 and 35 runs respectively. Haseeb Uddin scored 39 runs but got retired. Abdullah Nawab and Umer Chawla took 2 wickets each, halting the batters’ momentum.
As a result, Medicam successfully defended their total. They restricted the opponent to a score of 156 runs and won the match by 43 runs.
