Medicam came in to bat first & were off to a flyer. Their top order batsmen gave them a flying start by scoring at a healthy rate. Ahmed Asif & Umer Lohya had a partnership of 50+ runs. Ahmed Asif was hitting the ball cleanly & Umer Lohya played second fiddle to him. Ahmed Asif smashed the ball towards all parts of the ground scoring 74 runs off just 40 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers managed to pickup 2 wickets in quick succession. Muhammad Zahid Khan came in towards the back end of the innings & played a cameo of 19 runs off just 9 deliveries. Umer Lohya also played a fine knock scoring 37 off 36. Usman Usmani managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it wasn’t enough as everybody went for plenty. Medicam scored 184 runs for the loss of 5 wicket.
Imperial Rhinos came in to chase this target & were off to a sluggish start. The bowlers were unable to pickup wickets towards the start but they beautifully managed the run rate. The top order batsmen were struggling to score runs. Once the top order was dismissed Aqeel Doger & Muhammad Zaid started the counter attack. Muhammad Zaid played a sublime knock of 55 runs off just 29 deliveries taking his team in a good position. Aqeel Doger also managed to score 27 off 20. Once these two were dismissed the bowlers made their comeback. The bowlers bolwed tight line & lengths not allowing the batsmen to score easily. Wickets kept on tumbling at quick successions. Makhmoor Dahani lead the bowling lineup as he picked up 3 wickets, he found good support from Asad Ullah Hamza who picked up a couple of wickets. Imperial Rhinos were bowled out for 159 runs in 19.4 overs.
