Meezan Bank Green triumph over Numbers to become champions

Numbers came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Rasheed Ahmed & Sheraz Chuhan put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team a fiery start. Both the batsmen took the attack towards the bowlers scoring boundaries at ease. The duo hit out every bowler that was brought into the attack. Rasheed Ahmed departed after playing a fiery  knock of 55 runs off 20 deliveries. Shafaat Chisti came in & he scored 13 off 10. Sheraz Chuhan departed after playing a sublime knock of 72 runs off just 31 deliveries. Khalil Ahmed came in & he played with the same intent as he played a solid knock of 32 runs off 25 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Sayyam Khan Afridi & Kashif Bashir lead the bowling attack picking up 2 wickets each. Numbers posted a mammoth total of 217 runs.

Meezan Bank Green came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Ahmed Baig & Farhan Shah were in fine form & they made full use of their form. They put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team a flying start. Both the batsmen took the attack towards the bowlers smashing the ball towards all parts of the ground. There was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends as the bowlers had no answer to such aggressive batting. Ahmed Baig departed after playing a dismissive innings of 68 runs off just 28 deliveries. Faisal Iqbal came in & he too looked in no mood to settle in. He too took the attack towards the bowlers continuing the same momentum. The bowlers were under huge pressure as they were getting pumped for runs. Both the batsmen continue their mery way. The bowlers were absolutely thrashed towards all parts of the ground as Farhan Shah played a sublime knock of 81 runs off 45 deliveries & Faisal Iqbal played a fiery innings of 62 runs off just 29 deliveries taking their team to championship glory.
