Hill Park Blues came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Saad Jaka & Rizwan Khan put up a solid partnership at the top. Rizwan Khan player a cameo of 31 runs off 15 deliveries. Shah Hussain came in & he played with the same intent scoring at a healthy rate. Shah Hussain scored 33 runs off 31 deliveries where as Saad Jaka scored 35 runs off 31 deliveries. Umer Saud came in & he upped the anti. He scored at a quick pace bringing some sort of momentum to the innings. He departed after scoring 41 runs off 22 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers then made their comeback as they started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Zia Ul Hasan was unplayable with the ball in hand as he picked up 4 wickets. He found good support from Kashif Altaf who picked up 3 wickets. Hill Park Blues posted a total of 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Meezan Bank Green came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Ahmed Baig & Faisal Iqbal put up a solid partnership at the top scoring at a healthy rate. Faisal Iqbal departed after scoring 32 runs off 21 deliveries. Ahmed Baig followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 50 runs off 33 deliveries. Kashif Bashir & Kashif Altaf then combined at the crease & finished the game for their side. Kashif Altaf did the bulk of the scoring as he was timing the ball nicely. He played a fiery innings of 44 runs off 20 deliveries. Kashif Bashir scored 21 runs off 15 deliveries taking their team over the line. Abdul Wali managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it was too little too late.
