Team NSL came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers batters Farrukh Shahid & Sher Muhammad put up a decent partnership at the top giving their team a solid start. Farrukh Shahid scored 23 off 20 deliveries where as Sher Muhammad played a cameo of 24 runs off 13 deliveries. Hur Abbas came in & he scored 27 runs off 32 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Sayyam Khan Afridi lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Zia Ul Hasan who managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Team NSL managed to score 128 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Meezan Bank came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers were in fine form & made full use of their form giving their team a fiery start. Farhan Shah & Faisal Iqbal put up a partnership of 50+ runs completely running away with the game. Faisal Iqbal departed after played a fiery innings of 43 runs off just 28 deliveries. Mohammad Ismail came in & he played a solid knock of 21 runs off 18 deliveries. Farhan Shah remained unbeaten on the other end as he played a sublime knock of 61 runs off just 37 deliveries taking his team over the line.
