Falaknaz Hawks came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Talha Ahmedani & Salman Sanghani put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a dominating start. Salman Sanghani took the attack towards the bowlers as he played a fiery innings of 46 runs off just 25 deliveries making full use of the powerplay. Talha Ahmedani played second fiddle to him as he played a solid knock of 30 runs off 25 deliveries keeping the score board ticking. Rehan Hanif came in & he played with the same intent scoring run a ball 27 runs. Adeel Sabuwala came in & he contributed with his 18 off 16. Noman Ampara also chipped in with 16 runs off 14 deliveries. Imran Idrees lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Sameer Javed who managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Falaknaz Hawks posted a total of 150 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
MF Roomi Strikers came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Bilal Usman looked rock solid as he scored boundaries at regular intervals not allowing the pressure to mount on the batting side. Muzammil Mehboob came in & he managed to score 17 runs off 14 deliveries. Saad Faisal came in & he tried to up the anti as he scored 22 runs off 19 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to make their way back into the match. The bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Despite wickets falling from the other end Bilal Usman stood tall from the other end. He played a sublime knock of 64 runs off 46 deliveries taking his team over the line. Rehan Hanif lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Yaseen Quddus & Abdul Qadir Suriya who managed to pickup a couple of wickets each but were unable to seal the deal for their team.
