Midas Safety went against Adamjee General Insurance on 11th December at Gulberg Gymkhana.
Batting first, Adamjee posted a total of 149 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Abdul Rehman opened the innings, scoring 29 runs. Farooq Chaudhry added 33 runs to the score, while Usman Siddiqui and Waqar Yonus played knocks of 20+ runs each. Owais Hussain bagged 2 wickets.
Asim Chandio and Faizan Shakeel opened the innings for Midas Safety. The duo was phenomenal, as they were clinical in the chase. Asim scored 47 off 34, hitting 2 fours and 1 six and remained not out. While Faizan smashed a half century at a strike rate of 165.63. However, he got out by Zafar Iqbal. Ahmer Iqbal took to the crease and finished the job, along with Asim. Ahmer scored 40 off 22 at a strike rate of 181.82.
As a result, Midas Safety comfortably chased the score and won the match in 15 overs only.
