Muslim Gymkhana went against Audionic on 20th December at TMC Ground.
Batting first, Audionic posted a total of 122 runs at the loss of all wickets in 18.5 overs. Basit Ghouri and Hammad Mughal scored 20+ runs. While Adeel Sabuwala added 36 runs to the score. Waseem Ali and Mustafa Fattani bagged 3 wickets each, while Farhan Nisar took 2 wickets.
Openers Ismail Shah and Arsal Bilwani did not give a steady start to the team. Ismail got out on a duck, while Arsal lost his wicket at 10 runs only. Muhammad Ali, the one-down batter, stabilised the innings by smashing 55 off 41. Imran Muhammadi was the highest wicket taker as he bagged 2 wickets. However, they were unable to halt the batters momentum. Rehan Tanoli’s cameo of 20+ runs drove the team closer to the score.
As a result, Muslim Gymkhana won the match by 6 wickets in 17.4 overs.
