Black Tiger batted first came in to bat first in the all important final of the Diamond Cup. Their openers provided them with a decent start Muzammil Suriya scored 12 runs off 18 deliveries & Adil Tanoli scored 14 runs off 13 deliveries. The bowlers then picked up 2 wickets in quick succession. Black Tigers lost 4 wickets inside the powerplay & were under huge pressure. The bowlers capitalized on the start that they had & kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Ahmed Chikly was the only batsman who showed some sort of resistance but he was dismissed after scoring scoring 32 runs off 29 deliveries. The duo looked rock solid on the crease & were in a hurry to finish the game. The bowlers were completely blown away as the duo was hitting the ball as clean as. Nasir Khan played a fiery innings of 79 runs off just 29 deliveries. Hamid also scored a quick fire 40 off just 26 deliveries. The duo single handedly took their team over the line with a fine opening partnership.
