Nazimabad Fighters Bag a Thrilling 106-Run Win Against Garden East Warriors

Nazimabad Fighters and Garden East Warrior played a match against each other on 17th September.

Ansar Khan and Waqas Khan opened the innings for Nazimabad Fighters, scoring 15 and 10 runs respectively. The bowlers did a good job, as Rafay bagged 3 wickets and Waqas Ahmed dismissed two batsmen. However, the middle-order batters displayed stunning efforts in achieving momentum. Khizar smashed 63 runs at a strike rate of 161.54. In addition to this, Muhammad Haris smashed 36 off 28 and Fahad Khan scored 24 off 12. The efforts led Nazimabad to a score of 180 runs.

The second innings were opened by Waqas Ahmed and Ahmed Kazzafi. Waqas gave a good start to the team and scored 35 off 21. However, he was bowled out by Waqas Khan. This halted the batters’ momentum, as the bowlers dominated. Four of the batters lost their wickets on a duck. Yasir Ali was the star bowler, with 4 wickets in his bag. In addition to this, Waqas Khan and Talal Sheikh bagged 2 wickets each.

As a result, Garden East was restricted on a score of just 74 runs in the 17th over. Hence, Nazimabad emerged winners by a massive margin of 106 runs.
