Guru Group batted first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Mubeen Saghir & Ebad Ahmed put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. Mubeen Saghir departed after scoring 23 runs off 25 deliveries. Ebad Ahmed kept on playing with the same aggression. Khalid Bin Waheed came in & he too took the attack towards the bowlers. There was some clean power hitting on display from both the ends as the bowlers were dispatched towards all parts of the ground. Ebad Ahmed was dismissed after playing a sublime knock of 74 runs off 48 deliveries where as Khalid Bin Waheed played a fiery innings of 44 runs off just 29 deliveries. Jamal Khan was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets. Guru Group posted a total of 164 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.
NBP Lions came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Shoaib Rathore scored 12 runs off 18 deliveries where as Syed Umair Ali played a fiery innings of 24 runs off 17 deliveries. Ahmed Ali & Salman Ali Memon then came in & the duo looked rock solid. The duo put up an unbeaten partnership of 100+ runs completely crushing the hopes of the opposition. The duo took the attack towards the bowlers as both the batsmen played with aggression scoring towards all parts of the ground. Ahmed Ali played a fiery innings of 48 runs off 33 deliveries where as Salman Ali Memon played a sublime knock of 57 runs off just 37 deliveries. Umair Mehmood picked up 2 wickets but it was too little too late.
