Nexus With A Surprising Victory

Nexus Vs Engro

Nexus were off to a disappointing start with their opening pair in the first innings, when both of the opening batsmen went down after scoring 8 runs. Junaid Khan and Wajih Ali carried a decent partnership of 26 runs, that gave their team a head start on the scoreboard. Mohammad Kashif was one of the finest batsmen from his side to score 42 runs single handedly and gave his side a reason to cheer about. Mohammad Arif was the last player to score 41 runs and remain not out until his side ran out of players and they were dismantled at a total of 152 runs in 18 overs.

Irteza Khan gave Engro a satisfactory start by scoring 16 runs at the start of the second innings. Usman Hassan scored 15 runs and alongside him was the hard hitter Sameer Amin who scored 67 runs for his side. Engro were looking in great shape with their run rate and seemed to be pretty confident with their batting strategy. Zaib Zaman scored 23 runs and Sahib Uz Zama scored 11 runs. These were all the star performances that we saw from Engro, and Nexus did a pretty good job with the ball by containing the opposition and Mohammad Kashif was the highest wicket taker with 3 wickets to his name. Engro were able to score 148 runs in 20 overs. It was a very close call for both sides.

Nexus won by 4 runs.
