Okhai Memon Jamat Vs Alliance Sports (15th Challengers Cup)
The all rounding performance of the Okhai Memon Jamat was too much for the Alliance Sports to handle.
Okhai Memon Jamat started the first innings with a bang, when the opening pair played as marvelous partnership innings of 52 runs, where Bilal Omer scored 34 runs and Ali Jiwani scored 18 runs. In the middle order we again saw a pair working hard for their side and carried a partnership of 51 runs, where Ammar scored 20 runs and Saqib scored 31 runs and remained not out. The Okhai Memons were able to score a total of 158 runs in 20 overs, giving the Alliance a decent target to chase and for themselves to defend. Humayun Ghouri picked up 4 wickets for Alliance sports. a superb bowling attack.
The second innings didn't start quite as planned for the Alliance sports team, when their top batting order was dismissed in very quick successions. We saw a few names come up in batting order who were able to score a few runs for their side like Khurram who scored 16 runs and Talha Butt scored 17 runs, but that was just not enough to take their side all the way to a win. Alliance sports were all bowled out at a total of 100 runs. The Okahi bowling order was quite effective and Abdul Majeed picked up 3 wickets.
Okhai Memon Jamat won the match by 58 runs.
