It was expected to be a great encounter as both teams were equally balanced and had some quality players. Omar C.C got the opportunity to set the total on the board but they were shaken early in their innings as Ehsan Adil's first ball duck put them on the back foot straightaway. Fauz ul Hassan and M.Ikhlaque then got together after the early loss and both knew they had a job in hand. M.Ikhlaque was batting at a very crucial number 3 which is considered to be the backbone postition in cricket so he had to take responsibility and he did exactly that. He was very well supported by Fauz ul Hassan who was batting very well before being dismissed by Imran Ali. Fauz ul Hassan was only one of Imran Ali's 3 wickets, Imran Ali had an extraordinary day with the ball picking up 3 for just 18. Saad Nasim then joined M.Ikhlaque both carried the innings forward. M.Ikhalque was going on his merry way scoring boundaries at will and putting the bowlers under pressure. Soon Saad Nasim joined the party and he also started smashing the bowlers around. Both contributed very well in the teams total. M.Ikhlaque's fine innings came to an end when he was dismissed by Danish Azid for a very well made 61 of 39 his innings included 3 fours and 5 sixes. After his dismissal Saad Nasim and Asif Raza took the score of Omar C.C at very competitive 161. Saad Nasim remained not out for 47 of 38.
Now Qasim Cc knew they have a task in their hand. they were chasing a good target of 161. They came out for their second innings and had a worst possible start losing 2 quick wickets without much contributions. Now Riaz Merrani was joined by Tayyab Riaz and both steadied the ship for a while. Riaz Merrani in particular was looking in fine mood, he was not letting any bowler settle and was smashing everyone. He was dealing in sixes and was looking very dangerous before he threw his wicket away for 31 which included 4 big sixes. Tayyab Riaz also soon followed him for 15. Wickets at regular intervals was the biggest momentum breaker for Qasim Cc. They got start from many others as well in their lower order but no one could really convert it into big. Bowling from Omar C.C was exceptional they picked up wickets at regular intervals and did not let Qasim Cc take charge of the game at any point. Khalid Khail was the pick of the bowler for picking up 3 crucial wickets, Saad Nasim also bowled a very economical spell giving away only 16 runs in his 4 overs. In the end 161 proved too much too chase for Qasim Cc and they lost by 19 runs.
