Two exciting lineups challenged each other in this thrilling fixture of the Dollar East Hill Park Ramzan Tournament. Medicam batted first but the start was not ideal. T20 specialist Khalid Latif was dismissed at the score of 15 and Taimoor Sultan was sent back to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs. Ayaz tasawar tried to repair the damage, but he was never provided with the required assistance from the other end. Ayaz top scored the innings with 29 runs and the rest of the batting lot couldn’t find their form. Fauzal Hassan claimed 3 wickets for 28 runs and Khalid Khail grabbed two wickets for 21 runs. Waseem Ahmed scored 25 runs off 16 balls, helping his side to reach a triple figure score. At the end of 20 overs, Medicam scored 114 runs for 8 wickets.
Omar CC started their chase with great confidence. After a decent bowling spell, Fauzal Hassan dominated Medicam with the bat as well. He scored 44 runs off 33 balls. He hit 4 fours and two maximums in his brilliant knock. He was supported by fellow opening batsman Ehsan Ali. Ehsan missed his half century by just a single run. Gohar Ali kept on rotating the strike well, providing Ehsan the opportunity to play his strokes. Waseem Ahmed was the only wicket taker from the Medicam bowling lineup. Omar CC chased the target in the 16th over, winning the match comfortably by 9 wickets.
