BVS XI were off to a massive start with their opening pair in the first innings of the match. Hamza and Faraz scored big runs for their team which got the scoreboard ticking, Hamza scored 36 runs and Faraz played an awesome innings of 54 runs. After their dismissal, rest of the top batting order failed tremendously on scoring decent runs for their side. Sameer and Daniyal gave their side a little boost on the scorecard by scoring 23 runs in a partnership. Sher Ali was the last man to get his hands on a few decent runs and remained not out till the innings ended with 20 runs to his name. One of the reasons why the batting order failed was because Ahmed wasn’t letting any batsman stand his ground and with his amazing bowling attack he picked up 6 wickets in only 4 overs. Ahmed was definitely the man of the innings for his side. BVS XI scored a total of 153 runs in 20 overs.

Al Maqsood XI had high spirits as they entered the pitch to bat in the second innings. They had performed really well with the ball in the first innings and all they had to do now is to chase the target and celebrate victory. Osama and Abdullah were the opening batsmen for their team and they played some amazing piece of cricket. Some massive shots were played by these 2 brilliant batsmen and they took their side all the way. Abdullah was unfortunate to lose his wicket else he and Osama would have finished the match together, never the less, Abdullah played his part and scored 46 runs. On the other Osama played a marvelous innings and scored 86 runs for the team and remained not out. He witnessed the victory with Zeeshan as they played the winning shots. In 17.5 overs, Al Maqsood had chased the target.

Al Maqsood won by 9 wickets.
