Pakistan State Oil (PSO) Secure a 35-Run Victory Against Direwolves

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) went against Direwolves on 20th November at Civil Aviation Ground.

Batting first, PSO scored 175 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. Muhammad Asif opened the innings striking a dashing 72 off 45. His innings included 9 fours and 3 sixes. The bowlers dominated in the middle, with Farhan Ahmed Siddique and Mujtaba Kasmani bagging 2 wickets each. However, cameos by Bilal Shah and Faizan Zaman of 20+ runs helped PSO post a defendable total.

Salar Rizwan and Muhammad Zubair Arif opened the innings to chase. Zubair scored 45 off 32, however, Salar lost his wicket on fewer runs of 9. Though Ammar Ahmed and Ali Aamir scored 23 and 26 runs respectively. However, the bowlers were ferocious in defending their score. Kashif Sajjad led the attack and took 4 wickets. In addition to this, Faizan Zaman dismissed 3 batters while Bilal Shah knocked 2 wickets off.

Hence, PSO restricted Direwolves to a score of 140. PSO’s bowlers dismissed all the batters of the opposition and won the match in 19th over.
