A brilliant bowling performance followed by a collective contribution with the bat meant that Perceptions were declared victors against Acme Technologies by 4 wickets.
Acme technologies batted first and were off to a reasonable start as Adnan and Noman milked the bowlers and formed a good little opening partnership. They scored 22 and 20 respectively before they were dismissed by Bilal Chinioty. After dismissing the openers bowlers came back strongly in the game and picked a few more quick wickets which effected the scioring rate for Acme Technologies. Their innings was going nowhere until Ali came in and he scored a quick 38 of just 24 balls, his little cameo helped his side to score a modest 140 in their 20 overs.
The chase began well for Perceptions as their openers Abrar and Mukhtar were looking in good touch and batted sensibly. They knew they don’t need to chase a big target so they did not throw their wickets instead relied heavily on strike rotation. Abrar scored 21 whereas Mukhtar managed to score 37 before they were dismissed. After dismissing the openers, found a glimmer of hope as they dimissed the middle order for Perceptions in a hurry with Danish leading the way who picked up 3 wickets in total. But Anas who scored 36 of just 19 had other plans, he made sure that his side reaches the target without any more hiccups and in the end they got their with 1.2 overs to spare.
