QP Star took on SMCC in a match dominated by QP Star.
QP Star batsmen launched the first innings with some incredible power hitting. Farhad Pollard seemed unstoppable as he completely annihilated every bowler SMCC threw at him. Stacking a total of 10 fours and 14 massive sixes, Pollard accumulated a mammoth 164 off 69 balls. His uninhibited striking was complemented by his opening partner, Farhan, who amassed 76 runs from 42 balls. Despite using eight different bowlers, SMCC could not control the scoring blitz as QP Star registered 264 on the board.
SMCC's second inning batting efforts combined were no match for Farhad Pollard's first-inning display. Opener Rafiq top-scored for his team with a solid knock of 79 off 53 balls. Sajid, at No. 5, also contributed with a well-constructed half century. However, SMCC never looked like they were going to get anywhere close to the target. With 264 runs on the board, QP Star bowlers did not have to do much to contain the chase as SMCC closed their innings at 151 runs.
QP Star won the match by 83 runs.
