QP Star defeated Emkay Lions in a match held on Saturday.
Batting first, Emkay Lions faced the loss of one opener for a duck. Their other opener, Umar Ahmed, managed to make 23 runs. The middle order stabilized the innings, with special contribution from Fahad (30 off 20 balls) and Umer Khan (34 off 22 balls). Farhan Ejaz’s 24 and Shoaib’s 22 helped the team reach a total of 170 runs. Osama Mansoor was the lead wicket taker of his side with 2 wickets.
QP Star did not face any difficulties chasing down the target set for them as their opener Kamran Khan made 12 off 8 balls while Danish made 39 off 26 balls. Dhula was the star batsman with a brilliant knock of 84 not out off just 39 balls, including 14 boundaries. Sami Ul Haq added 22 runs to take the team to victory.
QP Star won by 8 wickets.
